In 25+ years of practicing medicine, teaching and leading, I have discovered that these two things are absolutely necessary for any healing journey…

Nourishment

When the body has the vitamins, micronutrients and minerals it needs, it knows how to do miraculous things. Today, we are faced with many challenges that inhibit us from realizing this, and therefore, it is difficult to find the wellness, healing, or quality of life we are looking for, even in the hands of a talented practitioner. Adding foundational nourishment and support for gut health to your daily routine at regular intervals can allow the nervous system to regulate, supports the healthy function of the immune system and reduces inflammation.  Because we know that all three of these things are at the root of most dis-ease states, foundational nutrition creates a much needed base upon which you can finally reach your goals.

Mindfulness

Presence and awareness is everything. In our symptomatic model of medicine and approach to life that celebrates velocity and immediacy over process and completion, we have lost our connection to the messages our bodies and minds are sending everyday to ask for the help they need.  Cultivating a state of mindfulness in everyday life allows us to move away from chasing symptoms and return to an approach to wellness that is more preventative.  Mindfulness gives us the opportunity to intervene sooner, which leads to significantly better outcomes.  Evidence shows that living life Mindfully also leads to less depression, anxiety and heightened states of happiness and fulfillment.

The Journey.

This program, beginning on November 30th, 2025. I will teach you simple rituals to set the tone for a day of ease and awareness. In addition, each day you will receive by email one small mindfulness exercise to incorporate into your day. These are not just mindfulness exercises, but together create a thoughtfully curated experience to guide you towards approaching life in a more mindful manner. We travel through mindfulness with body, breath, mind and heart.
